A state certified Creative District located along historic Colfax Avenue in Northeast Lakewood, Colorado. We work to support and promote Lakewood West Colfax as a vibrant cultural and economic destination through community arts spaces and events, and by supporting creative activities and endeavors.

40 West Arts Galleries & first Fridays

On the First Friday of every month (excluding January) all of our galleries and creative businesses are open to the public. Things kick off at 5:00 pm with slightly varying hours depending on location.
There's always something to do on First Friday at 40 West Arts including tons of artwork on display, beer & wine, light bites, live music and much much more. Join us!
40 West Artline
The 40 West ArtLine is a walking and biking art experience located in the heart of the 40 West Arts Creative District along historic West Colfax Avenue and the W Line light rail in Lakewood, Colorado.
